Content removal & privacy requests
Use this form to ask us to remove or correct something on this site.
We would rather fix a problem than argue about it. If something here infringes your copyright, contains your personal data, or is simply wrong, tell us and we will look at it.
What you can ask for
Copyright (DMCA)
If you own copyright in material reproduced here without permission, send a notice. Under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act a valid notice must include, substantially:
- identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
- identification of the material on this site you want removed, with enough detail for us to find it — a full URL;
- your contact details;
- a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
Personal data
If this site contains personal data about you and you want it removed, say which page and what the data is. Rights to deletion vary by where you live — see our Privacy Policy. We may need to verify your identity before acting, so that we do not delete someone's data at a stranger's request.
Factual corrections
If we have stated something inaccurately, tell us what is wrong and, if you can, point us at the official source. We would much rather correct an article than leave an error standing — this is the fastest route to getting it fixed.
What happens next
- Your request is logged with a reference number.
- We assess it. For a copyright notice we check it contains the elements above.
- We act — removing, editing or correcting — or we explain why we have not.
- We reply to the email address you give. We aim to respond within a few working days; a complex claim may take longer.
You can also write to info@beincareer.com if you would rather not use the form. A posted notice should contain the same information.
